Drama series 'Main Manto Nahin Hoon', 'I am not Manto' released on 18 Jul, 2025 by ARY Digital directed by Nadeem Baig production is collaboration between Six Sigma Plus & Next Level Entertainment authored by Khalil Ur Rehman.

Big names are appeared in this play including Humayun Saeed as 'Manto'.

'Mano' is known writer of this century in Indo-Pak history. He was an author who was active in British India and later, after the 1947 partition of India and Pakistan. His writings  are known for partition stories that works as mirror for society projecting shameless and grey areas where nobody wants to peek. The work of Manto always remained a hot topic for critics. His work is evergreen as human history of brutalities.

Beginning of Drama is bold as his character showing tragedies of partition between not only two families but it reminds the painful division of Indo-Pak. 

It shows how pain survives through generations. The unforgettable and unforgivable moments when they lost their relations, the grief that was faced by individuals. Men react on these painful moments but women raise them as children.

Similes are beautifully projected on screen not only through characters but in little details like a pigeon killed while shooting by rival group on other group. A senseless society who never cared human, ignored a little innocent pigeon.

Hope, this drama will keep the core idea alive throughout the series but its hard to be 'Manto' in this society. As tittle says 'I am not Manto'. 

Yet, Every society needs 'Manto' in each decade.
