US B-2 bombers involved in Iran strikes, U.S. official 

Washington, 21 June: U.S. B-2 bombers were involved in strikes on Iran's nuclear sites announced by President Donald Trump on Saturday, a U.S. official told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity. 

Trump and senior members of his team monitored the strikes as they took place from the White House Situation Room, a senior White House official said.

With him were Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard, U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, press secretary Karoline Leavitt, and others.
