Three-year-old girl raped, killed in Karachi

In a terrific incident, a three-year-old girl was killed in the city's Federal B Area (FB Area) with a post-mortem report confirming that the child was also subjected to rape, rescue and police officials.

The victim was strangled to death as per the post-mortem report, said the police.

"The girl was found dead at 7:30am at some distance from her house. As a dupatta was wrapped around her neck, it seems like she was strangled to death," the police official said. 

he police have said that evidence has been collected from the crime scene and that the victim's family has been asked to file a case. 

This is the second case within two months, before this case a minor girl was allegedly raped and murdered and found in a garbage dump in Karachi's Saddar area in August.
