World Communication Day

Lahore, 21 May: The "World Communications Day Conference: Speaking With the Heart", was held at Rabita Manzil. Rev. Fr. Pascal Paulus was the Chief Guest at this auspicious event. Fr. Qaisar Feroz, the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Social Communications, said that Pope Francis has urged all the journalists to speak the language of peace, being aware that the virus of war comes from the human heart.

World Communication Day was established by Pope Paul VI in 1967 in order to promote the privilege of media to spread the gospel around the world. Now a days social media is the best opertunity to shape the culture by sharing core message of Christianity of love and peace.

All the journalists are invited to enew our calling and mission of journalism by speaking the language of peace. In Pakistan the World Communication Day is being celebrated on the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord.

Fr Qaisar Feroz Veritas: Rev. Fr. Pascal Paulus OP, the Chief Guest, encouraged the journalists to speak truth with the heart and never be afraid. Respect everyone from the heart and be blessing for others.
