Islamabad: Press conference was held by Minority leader Saba at Nawaz Sharif Colony H-9 Islamabad against inhuman brutal act of CDA demolished tents beaten people, looted their stuff and left them on ground without any shelter.
Previously, residents of Nawaz Sharif Colony were living in houses. CDA bulldozed 120 houses that was only shelter for those people. Although, these colony is still without basic needs of life. instead of providing them shelter government left them homeless. Bulldozed even cloth made tents in this extreme cold.
Minority leader Sabra said; "This property belongs to Catholic mission that was taken over by government as many other mission properties were nationalized. This is injustice"; she added
"Children of Nawaz Sharif colony are living under constant fear and stress that is interrupting their studies." Sabra said
Sabra expressed her grief and said; "We feel like we are in Kashmir and CDA is India that would attack any time." These minority group of Christians are citizens of Pakistan but are being treated as strangers.
They demanded shelter and basic needs of life in this colony. NOC must be granted to this colony as they are deserve equal right as other citizens. Sabra said.
