A Christian woman Mussarat Bibi w/o Barkat Masih and Muhammed Sarmad for allegedly burning the pages of Quran in a school Trash.

On 19 Apr 2023, case was reported at Police Station Arifwala Pakpatan for allegedly burning the pages of the Holy Quran in school trash.

According to the early report, on 15Apr2023 2:00 incident occurred at Govt. girls high school 66/E-B when a Christian widow woman Mussarat Bibi (N/Qasida) and Muhammad Sarmad (Mali) were asked to remove trash from store room. In order to clean store room they burnt all trash including some pages of the Holy Quran.

On report, early enquiry made by police involving school Principal. On ground of alleged blasphemous act committed by above given accused report is filed under 295-B.

In whole scenario, it is crystal clear the blasphemous act was allegedly committed by accused as they obeyed official orders without knowing what is in trash and we should keep in view, they belong to uneducated rank of staff.

On other side, Responsible people are still free from accusation. But poor and meek people are facing blame that shows the supremacy of majority over minority in Pakistan. The sword of 295 is always hanging over heads of minorities in Pakistan.

There is an urgent need to establish the fair law to safeguard the individuals specially minorities from fabricated false cases in order to provide justice equality.
