Charlie Kirk: five days hearing at court in presence of family

While the proceedings of the five-day hearing, on ‌whether Tyler Robinson should stand trial in the case, have mostly been livestreamed in accordance with Erika Kirk's call for transparency, the enhanced video compilation of recordings by campus surveillance cameras was shown only to those present in the courtroom. 

As Charlie Kirk's legal representative under state law, Erika Kirk has called for all ​evidence presented at the hearing to be made public via a livestream, or otherwise shown to herself and others present in the courtroom.

Jeffrey Neiman, her lawyer, argued in a court filing on ​Wednesday that, without transparency, "speculation and conspiracy theories related to the tragic assassination of Mr. Kirk will continue to proliferate."

District Court Judge Tony Graf, who viewed the surveillance video earlier in the week but had not allowed it to be shown publicly in court, has weighed the request for transparency against concerns that allowing the public to see certain evidence at this preliminary stage would make it difficult to find impartial jurors ​if a trial is held.

Graf had called for parts of a pivotal interview with Robinson's roommate to be redacted, and some prosecution evidence has only been displayed in the courtroom.

The judge will rule later this year on whether Robinson should stand trial, after hearing oral arguments scheduled for September 1. 

Who was Charlie Kirk?

A Co-Founder of the organization 'Turning Point USA' shot dead at a Utah college  , USA. he was one of the most prominent voices of the populist MAGA movement and exemplified the growth of Christian nationalism in the Republican Party. He is also a co-founder of 'Turning Point Faith'  with Pentecostal pastor Rob McCoy. He is known for his political and conservative religious issues support.

In 2019, He became a Chairperson of 'Students of Trump', later on as Turning Point of Action its purpose was to promote Trump in Election 2020.

Kirk and Jerry Falwell Jr. co-founded the "Falkirk Center for Faith and Liberty".  As the co-members were currently or formerly related to Donald Trump. Antonia Okafor, director of outreach for Gun Owners of America; Sebastian Gorka, former deputy assistant to President Trump; and Jenna Ellis, a senior legal counselor for Trump. In 2020, the Falkirk Center spent at least $50,000 on political Facebook advertisements promoting Trump and Republican candidates. 

On March 3, 2020, Krik release a book "Make America Great Again" that shows his intention towards his country as Pro America not Anti as he was accused for.

Kirk was criticized for  his movements against abortion and LGBTQ issues. He promoted Christian Nationalism for he was opposed by americans.

Who killed Kirk:

Robinson was living at his parents' house in Washington, a farming and residential community of approximately 28,000 near Zion National Park in southwestern Utah. By faith he is mormon. 

The attack, carried out in a broad daylight as Kirk spoke about social issues from a university courtyard 

Motive of Murder:

“I can tell you this was a targeted event,” said Robert Bohls, the top FBI agent in Salt Lake City.
