Black Plastic - The Dark Threat in Your Kitchen

   These days, people have become used to hearing about chemicals in our environments.  Chemicals are everywhere because nothing in the modern world could exist without chemicals.  Chemicals do help us in every walk of life.  Take for example drinking water.  No one can have clean drinking water without the addition of chlorine to our water.  But, chemicals do have a dark side.  

The use of black plastic is very common around the world.  It is used for kitchen utensils, garbage bags and food containers.  Even though it is common, the use of black plastic has created alot of concern.  This is because black plastic contains very harmful chemicals such as fire retardants.  The harmful chemicals drip into the food from the food containers and create problems for people's health.  

The only way to stop black plastic chemicals from entering our bodies is to stop using and buying black plastic.  The government is very slow to take action in areas such as this.  They usually consider these issues only after years of research.  By that time, many people can have their health damaged.  Please stop using and buying black plastic wherever possible.
